October has come and gone and somehow, I still managed to fit in a dozen books! Full disclosure, 16 hours of road trip driving/audiobook listening probably helped.
Looking for my recommendations?
I finished Sunflower Season by Danica Nava at, I kid you not, 11:59 last night and it was everything I love in a romance novel. I have a full review coming soon as well as a few other surprises! Allie Samberts knocked it out of the park with two sweet and spicy rom coms: Common Grounds and Pumpkin to Talk About.
Fantasy had a fantastic moment this month with the full-cast immersive audio of The Song of Sunrise by Monica J. Deloy. I lost track of the number of times this book sent shivers down my spine!
I know historical fiction isn't everybody's jam, but seriously, The Pirate Queen and The Survivor's Guild were so good. I love that women from history (even if fictionalized) are being given a voice through literature!
